One more passport effect that is easy to miss. 7 routes waive the English-language test for nationals of certain countries, and a Brazilian passport is not one of them. Budget for the test and its fee even if you already work in English.

Yes, language testing is mandatory for Express Entry. IELTS General Training CLB 7 (roughly IELTS 6.0–6.5 across all bands) is the minimum. PTE Academic is also accepted. French speakers can take TEF Canada instead and pick up extra CRS points.
Can I move to Germany without speaking German?
For the EU Blue Card, no German is required, many tech and engineering roles in Germany run in English. The Opportunity Card requires A2 German or compensating points elsewhere. For permanent residence (after 33 months), B1 German is needed.
Is there a fast-track for Brazilian IT professionals going to Canada?
Category-based Express Entry draws for STEM occupations target software developers, IT infrastructure engineers, and data scientists specifically. These draws don't require the highest CRS scores, having the right NOC code (e.g., 21232, 21233) is what matters.
