Cities ranked by safety

Score 0-100. We invert the city's overall crime index (Numbeo + national reporting) and adjust for what newcomers actually experience: street safety after dark, petty-theft pressure in tourist areas, and the gap between official statistics and lived perception. A city at 90+ is one where most newcomers genuinely feel safe walking at night in central neighborhoods. Mid-80s cities have specific neighborhoods or times to avoid that locals know but newcomers don't.
